A Day in the Life of a Dublin Plumber: Blocked Sewers on Francis Street, Emergency Toilet Repair in Sandyford

Every day is a different day for Abbington. No two calls are the same, and no two buildings in Dublin throw up the same problem. Here's how one recent day went for our team.
Francis Street, Dublin 8 — Blocked Toilets and Main Sewer
Today, we were called to Francis Street to an office where the toilets and sewers were blocked. For any working office, that's not a minor inconvenience, it's a building that can't function.
After our initial inspection, we decided to bring out our jet wash van to basically unblock the main sewer. Jetting clears the blockage at the source rather than pushing the problem further down the line, which is why we go straight to it on a main sewer rather than patching over it.
The drains were running clear before we left. Another client extremely happy with Abbington.
Sandyford — Beacon Quarter — Emergency Toilet Repair
Then we were called to Sandyford, also to another office in the Beacon Quarter. The toilet flush system had malfunctioned, so the toilet was unusable — and with no working toilet, the office would have had to close for the day.
From when we got the call till we arrived was approximately an hour and ten minutes.
We arrived, identified the problem as a malfunctioning fill valve on the flush, and installed a new one. The toilet was back in service the same afternoon, the office stayed open, and the client was extremely happy with the work we carried out.
